In Rockdale, Texas the David name has meant high expectations on the football field.

Logan David, who signed with Blinn in February, has been a standout on the defensive front for the Tigers the since his sophomore year when he earned district newcomer of the year honors. As a senior in 2009 he was named district Defensive MVP, but he was not the only David making a name for himself.

Younger brother Derek David was named district Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore in 2009, and is quickly becoming one of the top prospects in the 2012 recruiting class.
