Notre Dame began recruiting Virginia linebacker Ken Ekanem last month and apparently saw enough out of the four-star prospect to extend a verbal scholarship offer. Ekanem was excited about the Irish pitch and plans to make an official visit to South Bend this fall. Notre Dame definitely has this defensive athlete's attention.
