Arkansas is still in the mix for Lancaster (Texas) cornerback La'Darius Newbold despite his commitment to Texas Tech, and the senior hopes to visit Fayetteville before making a final decision in February.

Newbold, 6-0, 185, 4.5, gave his pledge to the Red Raiders in June and has an offer list that includes Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and several others..
