Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) offensive tackle Avery Young is growing weary of the recruiting process.
Who can blame him?
He receives countless calls per week, and is constantly hosting a team for an in-home visit.
His recruitment has taken its toll.
"Man, this is getting hard. I'm really tired," Young said in a telephone interview Thursday afternoon with UGASports. "It is going to be a tough decision."
Young is set to take what could be his final official visit this weekend to visit the University of Georgia for the first time.
While he has yet to see UGA's campus, the Bulldogs are in his top three.
"I would say my top three are Auburn, Georgia, and Florida," said Young. "The visit to Georgia this weekend (for the Gala) will determine if they will still be in it. It will be my first time there so I'm excited."
Young will arrive in Athens around 2 p.m. Friday, and he knows exactly what he will be looking for when he gets there.
"I want a place where I can feel at home and fit in," he said. "This will be my home for four years so I want to feel good there."
Young planned on saying more, but his next comment was a microcosm of the past year of his life.
"Hey man, Auburn is coming for an inhome tonight. I completely forgot," he said. "I'll talk to you on my way home from Athens."
