Elite OT Making His Way Around Oklahoma
In the past few weeks few names in the country are rising more rapidly than Garden City (Kan.) C.C. offensive tackle Dontavius Blair. The massive 6-foot-8, 300-pound Alabama native has been picking up offers almost daily with the likes of Florida State, Arizona State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State among several others already sending offers to rural Southwest Kansas.
On Wednesday he got two more big ones.
"Oklahoma offered me today, so did Ohio State," Blair said.
"I've been talking to Oklahoma's offensive line coach [Bill Bedenbaugh], he is pretty cool. Actually I'm going down there to visit Saturday, that's something we planned a few days ago and then he offered me today."
