State's Top-Prospect Takes in Vols

VolQuest.com Tennessee's win over Georgia on Saturday was a big statement for the Vols on the field and in the SEC standings, but on a side note, it was also the kind of picturesque slice of college football that any staff would like to show recruits. Offensive tackle Barrett Jones of Memphis, the state's top-ranked prospect, was one of the recruits on hand to see the scene.
Jones (6-foot-5, 271 pounds, 4.9 40-yard dash) was in town on an unofficial visit this past weekend, a familiar move for him. He was also in Knoxville during August to take in a Volunteer scrimmage, and attended several games as a junior.
This was his first trip up this fall though, and saw Tennessee on a day when the Vols put their best foot forward.
