2009 WR already getting a lot of looks
Wide receiver Shaquelle Evans (6-2, 190, 4.5) from Inglewood, Calif., is making a strong case for himself to be rated among the nation's best wide receivers for the class of 2009. He is hearing from just about everyone in the nation already and he recently picked up his first two offers.
It was commonly thought that Evans was going to be a hometown battle between UCLA and USC, but with the attention that Evans is getting, he may be thinking of going away for college much to the chagrin of the Bruins and the Trojans.
"On Tuesday Shaq had coaches from Colorado, Washington State and Notre Dame stop by to see him," Inglewood assistant coach Khalid Ali said. "Up until now, Shaq was pretty much set on staying in California for school ,but I would have to say that Shaq has now opened himself to the possibility of leaving his comfort zone.
