HD: Sooners make it 10 straight
Oklahoma jumped out quickly to an 8-0 lead after three innigs plating a season-high seven runs in their half of the third.
True freshmen left fielder Hunter Haley cranked his first career home run to lead off the big inning and was then followed by the heart of the Sooners line up that did it in more ways than one.
The eight run lead would be enough for Overton, despite giving up a season high six earned runs, who collected his fourth victory of the season.
Max White lead the Sooners at the plate going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Oklahoma and Pepperdine will be back at it Saturday when Jonathan Gray looks to clinch the series victory for the Sooners. First pitch at L. Dale Mitchell Park set for 2 p.m.
