The Norman Police Department referred SoonerScoop.com to the University of Oklahoma Police Department for further information on Ndulue's arrest, including information pertaining to his arrest affidavit.
OUPD offices are closed until Monday.
Ndulue was released from the detention center at 9:08 a.m. Saturday.
Ndulue played in all 13 games for the Sooners during the 2012 season recording 45 tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. In 2013, Ndulue was making the switch from defensive end to defensive tackle to help bolster a thin corps of defensive tackles.
Historically, players who are found guilty of DUI have faced suspension under Bob Stoops' watch. Should Ndulue not be available for OU's season opener against ULM, Jordan Phillips, Jordan Wade, Torrea Peterson and Rashod Favors would be the only returning defensive tackles available.
Phillips would be the only experienced returner as he played in 11 games in 2012, recording just 12 tackles.
Wade and Peterson logged very limited time last season and neither player logged a tackle during the 2012 season.
Favors, like Ndulue, is converting from defensive end to defensive tackle during the offseason.
