2008 (Junior): Started the first four games of the season at either the tight end position or as a blocking back before suffering an ankle injury that caused him to miss three games ... registered his first career touchdown with a one-yard reception against Oklahoma State ... season-long 11-yard catch against Missouri in the Big 12 Championship.

2007 (Sophomore): All-Big 12 first team by the coaches at fullback position ... each of six starts were in two or three-tight end sets or as a blocking back ... had two receptions for 23 yards against Texas A&M, including a career-long 12-yard catch.

2006 (Freshman): Did most of his work in three-tight end sets or as a blocking back ... characterized by coaches as one of the top blockers on the team ... had three receptions on the season, including a long of 10 yards against Oregon.
