To be fair, the Golden Grizzlies appeared to be well coached and played fine defense for the majority of the contest. They are something of a slowdown team, so the score is about what was anticipated, but Oakland boxed out well, rotated their perimeter defenders well, and cut off passing lanes well for long time head man Greg Kampe.

A balanced scoring effort was headed by point guard Darren Collison who had 15, with Arron Afflalo and Josh Shipp chipping in 14 and 12 a piece.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, fresh off perhaps his worst two performances in a Bruin uniform, took some finals, shaved his head, and grabbed 12 rebounds, ending any concerns over a perceived regression in his game as a result of a nagging groin injury.
