Martin sits on edge of impressive mark

Thumb through the annals of Kansas State basketball history, past the legendary careers of Jack Gardner, Tex Winter, Jack Hartman and past Lon Kruger, who delivered the Wildcats last Elite Eight appearance 22 years ago. None accomplished the feat that Frank Martin could leave with after the ninth-ranked Wildcats face Colorado on Saturday night at Bramlage Coliseum. Martin looks to become the first K-State head coach to win at least 20 games in each of his first three seasons.
