McGruder earns Martin's trust

As Jacob Pullen commanded attention last week behind his 65 points that earned the senior guard National Player of the Week honors, another key piece to the winning equation for Kansas State raised eyebrows as well. Sophomore Rodney McGruder, who had 10 points in a win over top-ranked Kansas, doubled his point production and behind five 3-pointers helped to sink Oklahoma in a 77-62 victory. Afterward Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel wouldn't let McGruder's work go unnoticed.
