Rolan Takes in a New Norman

Following his massive performance at the TCU NIKE camp it's safe to say those in attendance for Oklahoma's summer camp earlier this month had high hopes for a similar workout from Devin Rolan. Fortunately the 6-foot-1, 220-pound prospect not only put in one strong day of workouts, but three. The McAlester, Okla. linebacker may just be heading into his junior season for the Buffaloes but is already establishing himself as perhaps the state's top linebacker regardless of class.

That impression was apparently shared by Sooner linebackers coach, and defensive coordinator, Brent Venables as well as first year Tulsa head coach Bill Blankenship.

"Coach Venables told me that I just needed to be patient and that he was going to talk some with coach (Bob) Stoops about offering me," Rolan admitted excitedly.
