Logan Tuley-Tillman commits
If Brady Hoke keeps up his torrid pace on the recruiting trail, Michigan fans aren't going to have to wait long to know the entire 2013 class. After six Rivals250 commitments yesterday, Michigan picked up another this evening, and has now added Peoria (Ill.) Manual offensive lineman Logan Tuley-Tillman.
"Officially a Wolverine & better yet a Michigan Man," he posted on his Twitter account.
The 6-7, 295-pound Tuley-Tillman is rated as a four-star prospect, and the No. 109 senior nationally in the initial Rivals250. He has the size and skills to play left tackle in college, and needs only add experience to become an elite player.
The four-star has made it no secret that Michigan is near the top of his list. A recent visit to Ann Arbor - with his mother along for her first trip to Michigan - played a big role in sealing his commitment.
"For me, it was pretty much more of the same," he said. "My mom got to see it too, though, and she really liked it. That was her first time."
Although Tuley-Tillman initially planned to take his time in the recruiting process and visit several schools, the opportunity in Ann Arbor was too much to pass up. That became even more obvious on Saturday, when the Wolverines picked up commitments from three Rivals250 linemen.
Comfort on campus played a large role in Tuley-Tillman's commitment, and six trips to town during his junior year helped establish that comfort.
Tuley-Tillman is Michigan's eighth commitment of the weekend, and eleventh overall. Ten of Michigan's commitments are in the Rivals250.
