U-M commitments rank among best in Ohio

OhioPreps.com has been releasing its spring evaluations of the best players in the state over the past 10 days, and the Maize and Blue are well-represented, with all eight of their commitments from Ohio ranked among the top three players at their respective positions, much to the chagrin of OSU fans.

"It's probably a little unusual Michigan has had this much success," said Marc Gilver, who has been ranking Ohio's best for six years. "I'm not in the staff meetings in Ann Arbor, but the coaching staff probably looked at the fact that Ohio State only has 15 scholarships to give this year, saw how deep the state is, and took advantage."
