Friday Night Lights: Stats, scores and schedules

Here's a look at the stats and scores from the entire Texas Class of 2009, as well as other key names/targets/prospects from 2009-2011.

Texas 2009 commitments

QB - Garrett Gilbert - Lake Travis

After falling behind 21-7 to start the game, Gilbert and Co. woke up in a big way in the final 25 minutes of the game, as they rolled off 31 unanswered points to race past Cibolo Steele for a 38-21 win. Gilbert finished the night 23 of 27 for 290 yards and two touchdowns (one interception), while adding another 72 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries on the ground. Through 12 games, Gilbert has completed 224 of 219 passes for 3,614 yards, 43 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He also has added 389 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.

This week: vs. Alice (12-0), 8 p.m. Friday, Alamodome

RB -Chris Whaley - Madisonville

Madisonville's season has ended, as Whaley rushed for 1,910 yards and 24 touchdowns on 187 carries over the course of nine games.

WR - Greg Timmons - Aldine Eisenhower

No stats were shown for Timmons in an ugly 62-21 loss to Cinco Ranch, as Eisenhower turned the ball over five times on their first five possessions of the game, which led to a 24-0 deficit that they could never recover from. Timmons finished the season with 28 receptions for 530 yards and six touchdowns.

TE - Barrett Matthews - Galena Park North Shore

Matthews had a season-best night in a disappointing 28-21 second-round loss to Hightower, as he finished with five receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown, including a sensational 48-yard touchdown reception. Through ten games this season, Matthews caught 14 passes for 239 yards and four touchdowns.

TE - Trey Graham - Waco Midway

Graham caught two touchdown passes in Midway's 35-10 win over Texas High. Overall, Graham has caught 18 passes for 240 yards and four touchdowns.

This week: vs. Dallas Highland Park (11-1), 2 p.m. Friday, Corsicana

OL - Mason Walters - Frenship

The undefeated Tigers rolled up 391 yards of offense in their 48-7 win over Canutillo this weekend. Walters has graded out at 93% or better each week this season, has 32 pancakes, 46 knockdowns and has allowed only one sack all season.

This week: vs. Denton Ryan (9-3), 7 p.m. Friday, Lubbock's Lowrey Field

OL - Thomas Ashcraft - Cedar Hill

The Longhorns ran right behind the backside of Ashcraft for 338 yards rushing and they racked up 399 yards of total offense in a 31-18 win over state power Southlake Carroll.

This week: vs. Mansfield (8-4), noon Saturday, Texas Stadium

OL - Garrett Porter - Odessa Permian

Permian rushed for 165 yards and passes for 271 yards, as they blew out Burleson 56-21. Through the first ten games this season, Porter had 98 pancake blocks and 104 knock-downs.

This week: vs. Allen (11-1), 4 p.m. Friday, Texas Stadium

OL - Paden Kelley - Lake Travis

After falling behind 21-7 to start the game, Kelley and the rest of the Cavs woke up in a big way in the final 25 minutes of the game, as they rolled off 31 unanswered points to race past Cibolo Steele for a 38-21 win. The Cavs were "held" to 398 yards of offense on the night, but Kelley played a big part in the offense's closing out of the game, as well as an integral role on the defense, as he came in and provided some much-needed help to the run-defense in the second half.

This week: vs. Alice (12-0), 8 p.m. Friday, Alamodome

DT - Calvin Howell - San Antonio Warren

Warren's season ended in the second-round of the playoffs after the rattlers lost a 31-212 showdown with cross-town rival Reagan. Howell had recorded 38 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries entering the game.

DT - Derek Johnson - Hoxie (Ark)

Hoxie was stopped six times on fourth down efforts, as they were knocked from the playoffs with a 16-7 loss to Lamar,

DL - Kyle Kriegel - Elysian Fields

Elysian Fields' season has concluded and we need to get final season stats for Kriegel.

DE - Alex Okafor - Pflugerville

Okafor's season ended last week when he recorded three sacks in Pflugerville's season-ending 14-7 loss to Smithson Valley.

DE - Dominique Jones - Kilgore

Kilgore gave up 465 yards of offense, as their season came to an end in a 48-21 loss to Ennis. Heading into the playoffs, Jones has recorded 64 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and three sacks.

LB - Tariq Allen - Irving MacArthur

Allen's season is complete and he finished with 122 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble and one recovered fumble.

LB - Patrick Nkwopara - SGP

Nkwopara recorded 95 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles this season.

CB - Eryon Barnett - Euless Trinity

Barnett is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

CB - Marcus Davis - League City Clear Creek

Davis' season ended in the first-round of the playoffs with a 59-17 loss to Hightower. For the season, Davis recorded 72 tackles, 9 pass breakups, four sacks, two blocked PAT's and 1 punt return for TD.

DB - Kenny Vaccaro - Early

Vaccaro is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. In three games this season, Vaccaro recorded 28 tackles, seven tackles for loss, one sack and one pass break-up.

Other key 2009 prospects

RB - Rex Burkhead[/db[ - Plano

The all-everything Burkhead rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, while also catching six passes for 29 yards and another touchdown in a thrilling 42-35 loss to Euless Trinity. Burkhead rushed for 1,662 and 28 touchdowns on 255 carries on the ground, while adding 42 receptions for 594 yards and five touchdowns as a receiver.

WR - [db]A.J. Dugat - Dayton

Dugat did it all for Dayton again on this night, catching six passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 86 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, as the Broncos blasted Elgin 41-14 to advance to the third round of the playoffs. Dugat has 87 receptions for 1,395 yards and 17 touchdowns as a receiver, while adding 485 yards and six touchdowns on 46 carries.

This week: vs. Rosenberg Terry (6-4), 7 p.m. Saturday, The Woodlands

Ath - Cody Green - Dayton

The Nebraska commit completed 10 of 17 passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns, while also running for 95 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, as Dayton beat Elgin 41-14. In 11 games this season, Green has completed 180 of 277 passes for 2,464 yards and 26 touchdowns (only four interceptions), while adding 920 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground.

This week: vs. Rosenberg Terry (6-4), 7 p.m. Saturday, The Woodlands

RB - Christine Michael - Beaumont West Brook

Michael was held to 93 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in a 18-17 loss to Dickinson. Michael finished the season with 1,412 yards and 25 touchdowns on 172 carries in nine games. He also added 22 receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.

RB - Jonathan Miller - Garland Naaman Forest

Miller rushed for 89 yards on 16 carries in a 16-9 loss to Copperas Cove. Miller rushed for 1,881 yards and 19 touchdowns on 240 carries thus far this season.

Ath - Dexter Pratt - Navasota

The LSU commit rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in a 48-33 win over Silsbee. Pratt now has 1,270 yards and 19 touchdowns on 170 carries for the season.

This week: vs. Waco La Vega (10-2), 7:30 p.m. Friday, Round Rock ISD Stadium

QB - Russell Shepard - Houston Cy Ridge

Shepard was a showstopper against Lufkin, rushing for 323 yards and five touchdowns on 28 carries, while also completing seven of 15 passes for 87 yards in a 43-32 win over Lufkin. So far this season, Shepard has completed 104 of 191 passes for 1,615 yards, 17 touchdowns and four interceptions. Shepard also has 1,635 yards and 25 touchdowns on 227 carries.

This week: vs. Copperas Cove (11-1), 7:30 p.m. Friday, Waco ISD Stadium

RB - Eric Stephens - Mansfield Timberview

Stephens rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on 15, while adding three receptions for 63 yards in Timberview's 49-14 loss to Denton Ryan. Stephens rushed for 1,296 yards and 19 touchdowns on 163 carries, while adding 28 receptions for 297 yards as a receiver.

Other key 2010 prospects

QB - Sam Carter - Sharpstown

Carter completed eight of 23 passes for 57 yards in a 38-6 loss to Terry. Carter finished the season by completing 1313 of 287 passes for 1,759 yards and 19 touchdowns (11 interceptions), while adding 1,023 yards and nine touchdowns on 182 carries.

WR - Mike Davis - Dallas Skyline

Davis caught five passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns in Skyline's 51-26 win over DeSoto. So far this season, Davis has 50 receptions for 1,034 yards and 14 touchdowns.

This week: vs. Cypress Woods (8-2), 2 p.m. Saturday, Waco ISD Stadium

WR - Kyle Guinyard - Ennis

The fast-rising junior caught 19 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns in Ennis' 48-21 win over Kilgore. So far this season, Guinyard has 101 receptions for 1,659 yards and 20 touchdowns.

This week: vs. Rockwall Heath (12-0), noon Friday, Texas Stadium

WR - John Harris - Garland Naaman Forest

Harris caught seven passes for 65 yards in a 16-9 second-round loss to Copperas Cove. For the season Harris caught 45 passes for 584 yards and seven touchdowns.

Ath - James Haynes - West-Orange Stark

The do-everything Haynes played great defense and added 31 yards on two carries on offense, as WOS rolled to a 37-7 win over Caldwell. Haynes is a full-time defensive player, but he also has 10 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown as a receiver, along with 221 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

This week: vs. Gilmer (11-1), 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Lufkin

RB - D.J. Jones - Denison

Jones rushed for a season-low 79 yards on 13 carries, while adding four receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown in Denison's 42-13 win over Dallas Lincoln.

This week: vs. Sulphur Springs (10-2), 8 p.m. Friday, Texas Stadium

WR - Darius Terrell - DeSoto

Terrell caught two passes for 21 yards in a 51-26 loss to Skyline. Through 12 games this season, Terrell caught 34 passes for 579 yards and six touchdowns.

WR - Deandrew White - Houston North Shore

The fast-rising White caught six passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in a disappointing 28-21 second-round loss to Hightower. Through 10 games this season, White caught 34 passes for 801 yards and 10 touchdowns.

QB - Connor Wood - Houston Second Baptist

Wood was 18 of 26 for 192 yards and one touchdown, while adding 44 yards and a touchdown on the ground, in a 24-21 loss to Denton Liberty Christian. For the season, Wood completed 166 of 264 passes for 2,248 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions, while adding 406 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground.

Other key 2011 prospects

Ath - Quandre Diggs - Angleton

Diggs rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Angleton's 55-19 win over Davis. Diggs has rushed for 1,321 yards and 21 touchdowns on 115 carries, while also adding two receptions for121 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.

This week: vs. Beaumont Central (8-3), 6 p.m. Saturday, Galena Park ISD Stadium

QB - Driphus Jackson - Cedar Hill

Jackson completed five of nine pass 61 yards and a touchdown, while adding 93 yards on 14 carries as a runner in Cedar Hill's 31-18 win over Southlake Carroll. For Jackson had completed 95 of 175 for 1,041 yards and six touchdowns (nine interceptions), while adding 691 yards and six touchdowns on 126 carries.

RB - Daniel Lasco - The Woodlands

Lasco was held to 23 yards on 13 carries in a 21-7 loss to Round Rock Stony Point. He finished the season with 1,132 yards and 11 touchdowns on 141 carries.

WR - Miles Onyegbule - Arlington

Onyegbule had three receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown in Arlington's 28-27 win over Odessa. Onyegbule has 36 receptions for 521 yards and five touchdowns this season.

This week: vs. Euless Trinity (12-0), 8 p.m. Saturday, Texas Stadium

Ath - Desmond Rowland - Lake Highlands

Rowland rushed for 72 yards on eight carries, while adding five receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown in Lake Highland's 28-27 win over John Tyler. Rowland has 822 yards and five touchdowns on 95 carries, along with 18 catches for 311 yards and four touchdowns as a receiver.

This week: vs. Klein Oak (9-1), 3 p.m. Saturday, Round Rock ISD Stadium

WR - Jaxon Shipley - Coppell

Coppell plays Allen tonight at 8pm at Texas Stadium. Shipley has 56 receptions for 783 yards and six touchdowns this season.

Ath - Stephen Williams - Round Rock Stony Point

Williams caught 23 yards and a touchdown on three receptions, along with 23 yards rushing on three carries in a 21-7 win over The Woodlands. Williams has 43 receptions for 540 yards and a touchdown, along with 283 yards and two touchdowns on 49 carries.

This week: vs. Garland (11-1), 2 p.m. Saturday, Waco's Floyd Casey Stadium

RB - Tevin Williams - Euless Trinity

Williams rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in Trinity's 42-35 win over Plano. Williams leads the Trojans in rushing with 1,001 yards and 19 touchdowns on 169 carries, along with six catches for 90 yards as a receiver.

This week: vs. Arlington (8-4), 8 p.m. Saturday, Texas Stadium
