Best of the Best Sunday

ATLANTA, Ga. - Rivals.com's Dan McDonald was on hand as Sunday's action at the Under Armour Best of the Best camp was highlighted by an exciting slam dunk contest, which 2012 Auburn commit Shaquille Johnson took home with ease. Several other players also stood out for their teams during bracket play but 5-star big man Mitch McGary shined above the rest.

2012 PF Mitch McGary: McGary played very well on Saturday but he was probably even better on Sunday morning during bracket play. He showed off a variety of post moves, spin moves, and even knocked down some jumpers. What really stood out most was his will to win. He definitely plays with passion and it rubs off on his teammates.

2012 PF Robert Carter: Matched up against his Atlanta Xpress teammate Chris Walker, the 6'8 250-pound big man scored in a variety of ways. He's probably the best in his class at using pump fakes on the low block to create his own shot. He also showed that he is willing passer out of the post.

2013 SG/PG Hallice Cooke: It's easy to tell which kids have a will to win, even if it just a camp, and Halice Cook definitely looked like a kid that wanted to win this whole weekend. Even though his team lost in the semi-finals, they probably out-scored the other team by a wide margin while he was running the show. At 6'3, Cook has nice size for a floor general and has a nice feel for the game.

2012 SF Jeremy Hollowell: Tom Crean will be a very happy man when Jeremy Hollowell arrives in Bloomington in 2012. Hollowell shot the ball very well the whole weekend but also used his size to score inside.

2012 PF/C Kyle Meyer: Meyer has nice length and athleticism for a 6'10 post player and combines that with a high skill level. On Sunday, he showed he could even step out and knock down 3's. If he can add some muscle to his lean frame, he will be a force during his college career.

2012 SF Danuel House: A big time athlete out of Texas, House also showed he had the ability to create off the dribble or knock down long-range jumpers. He competed in the dunk contest but wore out after attempting and missing two dunks where he jumped from just inside the free throw line.

2013 PG Rysheed Jordan: Jordan is a very intriguing prospect out of Pennsylvania. More of a combo guard than a true point guard, Jordan knocked down a few jumpers but also got in the paint and made plays.

2013 SG Zak Irvin: The 6'5 shooting guard from Indiana showed off a lethal long-range jumper all weekend in Atlanta. He doesn't need much room to get his shot off either.

2013 SF Quinton Stephens: Playing on his home court at Marist, Stephens had a pretty good weekend and made one of the all-tournament teams. At 6'8, Stephens has a nice overall skill-set but needs to add muscle. He's a very nice looking long-term prospect.

2014 C Quadri Moore: Perhaps the biggest kid in camp at around 6-foot-9, Moore shot 4-5 from behind the arc on Sunday morning during bracket play. If he combines that with a post-up game over the next couple years, watch out.
