Fields "lost for words" at OU Offer

Even though it is only July of 2016, Oklahoma has already extended its fourth offer in the state for the class of 2018 when they joined the race for Tulsa (Okla.) Union safety Patrick Fields on Friday.

He joins Owasso safety Josh Proctor, Southmoore quarterback Casey Thompson, and already committed Southmoore offensive tackle Brey Walker.

Fields was in Norman as a part of a Sooners barbecue event, which hosted most of their commitments and many top targets across the country for the classes of 2017, 2018, and even 2019.

It was clear that this was an especially exciting offer for the Oklahoma product, who already holds offers from TCU, Tulsa, and Arkansas State.

"I'm lost for words, the environment here is indescribable & the family environment is crazy. The 2017 class brings so much swagger to the program you just want to hop on board."
