Granger opts for rehab

Junior defensive tackle Demarcus Granger has elected to try and rehabilitate his foot injury suffered last Saturday against Washington instead of undergoing season-ending surgery.
Bob Stoops made the announcement on Thursday. Stoops stated that the rehab process would take three to four weeks, but he did indicate a lack of certainty on whether the rehab process would prove successful adding, "and then we'll just see from there."

Stoops told media members on Wednesday that should Granger undergo surgery he would not be able to return to action this season.
Granger had accumulated six tackles, 1.5 sacks and recovered one fumble in three games this season.
He will be replaced in the defensive tackle rotation by junior Cordero Moore.
