HD: Callins sets career high leads Bluejays to district title

The last time SCOOPHD dropped in on the Guthrie football program a sophomore cornerback, running back phenom ran for 131 yards on nine carries and returned an interception 57-yards for a touchdown as the Bluejays claimed the class 5A state championship.
Not quite two years later that sophomore is now a senior. But the game and performance are still very much quite the same
2014 athlete Kai Callins rushed for a career high 203 yards on 26 carries as Guthrie clinched the 5A-2 title for the fourth time in seven years. Guaranteeing themselves at the very least one more home playoff game at Jelsma Stadium, where they have won 25-games in a row.
