The Skinny: Carter, played both ways for Aledo, but his team suffered a surprising upset in a 20-19 loss to College Station. For his own part Carter had one 13-yard reception, a pass defended, eight tackles (six solo).

The Skinny: Crawford was part of a two-headed monster that helped bring Rockdale it's first state title since 1976. Crawford caught a touchdown, ran for another, and even threw a 19-yard touchdown but was the defensive MVP in Rockdale's 45-29 win over Brock. Crawford ended the night with two receptions for 82-yards, including a 74-yard touchdown as well as nine carries for 56-yards and a 41-yard touchdown run.
