Oklahoma adds No. 21 to 2017

On Friday, Oklahoma added their 21st commitment to the class of 2017 with Riviera Beach (Fla.) Sunset Coast DE/OLB three-star K'Jakyre Daley.

Here are some quick facts on the newest member of the ballyhooed SoonerSquad17.

- Daley earned the nickname "Peanut" as a baby because of the shape of his head.

- He is the first commitment of the 2017 class from Florida and joins Marcelias Sutton(Lackawanna, PA), Jeremiah Hall (Charlotte, NC), and Trey Sermon (Marietta, GA) as the only Oklahoma commits from the eastern time zone.

- Daley is the first Oklahoma commitment out of Florida since Ahmad Thomas out of Miami Central in 2013

- In the 2012 class prior to Thomas, the Sooners signed four prospects from the Sunshine State, their most under Bob Stoops: Eric Striker, Ty Darlington, Gary Simon, and Laith Harlow.

- Daley is the 9th Oklahoma commitment from Florida since 2002.

- The highest ranked Sooner pledge from Florida was Roy Finch out of Niceville at No. 94 overall in 2010.

- The highest NFL Draft pick under Stoops out of Florida was offensive guard Davin Joseph, who was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23rd overall in the 2006 draft.

- Oklahoma remains at No. 3 in the team recruiting rankings for 2017, after Kennedy Brooks' commitment earlier this week moved them from up from No. 4.

- Listed at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, the only other Oklahoma defensive commitment to match Daley's height is 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end Isaiah Thomas.

- Daley is the 21st commitment for the Oklahoma class of 2017. The Sooners didn't earn commitment No. 21 in 2016 until Parrish Cobb was added as a late signee in July.

- Since Bryce Youngquist was unable to sign, Oklahoma only finished last year's class with 20 signees. Meaning their current 2017 commitment list would already be larger than 2016's. There is still four months left until signing day.

- At this time a year ago, Oklahoma had just seven commitments.
