Scoop is best served year round

SoonerScoop.com will have all of the action covered from the post signing day news that always flies around in the weeks following signing day. What player nearly had a change of heart? Just as Scoop went above and beyond on signing day, staff members Carey Murdock, Josh McCuistion, and Tim Sapp will all offer the most in-depth information and knowledge on the comings and going of one of the most highly anticipated spring practices in nearly a decade.
Who will replace Jason White?
Who is going to make up an offensive line losing three player who collectively started over 100 games as Sooners?
Defensively, what's happening with the Sooner secondary who will watch three players head to the NFL this spring?
It's not just about football at SoonerScoop and members can expect recruiting updates from some of the nation's elite basketball prospects that Sooner head coach Kelvin Sampson has identified as the next batch of Sooner greats.
As for the current bunch of Sooners who currently find themselves second in the Big 12, SoonerScoop will make sure it's members are well versed in the comings and going of perhaps Sampson's most exciting team. Led by Taj Gray, Drew Lavender, and Kevin Bookout don't be surprised if Scoop is still covering Sooner hoops deep into the month of March!
What about Baseball and Larry Cochell's attempt to take the Sooners back to the promise land of the Omaha, Nebraska and the College World Series? SoonerScoop will have all the bases covered as the Sooners try and build with a young team coming off a solid 2004 campaign.
In the Sooner state one of the most important sports is wrestling, and the Sooners young squad looks to have serious national title aspirations in 2006, but don't discount any team who has two of the nation's most dominant wrestlers in 125 pound Sam Hazewinkel and Oklahoma legend Teyon Ware at 141 pounds. The two are a combined 50-1 this season with Hazewinkel having perhaps one of the most dominating seasons in the illustrious history of Sooner wrestling.
Aside from all of this, there's also going to be the emergence of talented prospects from across the country. Names like Myron Rolle and Sergio Kindle will soon ring right up there with the Adrian Peterson's and Reggie Smith's in Sooner recruiting fans collective memories.
Don't forget in-state studs like Gerald McCoy and Jermaine Gresham as the two front-runners for the honor or the state's No. 1 prospect in what appears to be a deep and talented senior class of 2006.
In the Summer the fun will continue as Nike and Oklahoma summer camp reports come around and more and more of the nation's top prospects emerge and make names for themselves as the next "Franchise" or "Freak" player for the Sooners.
Last but not least SoonerScoop.com will take you in-depth into all of the action of summer workouts and how this embarrassingly talented group of freshman arrive to campus and who could be next year's Peterson or Marcus Walker.
