2022: Quarterback
With the class of 2021 largely in the rearview mirror it's time to start putting the 2022 class more into complete focus for the Sooners. And as with every recruiting class, the hopes of the group will be heavily reliant on the success Lincoln Riley can have at quarterback. As such it's time to take a look at a few of the prime candidates to keep an eye on in the class.

Breakdown: Orji was offered during a visit to Norman and at the time was a player the Sooners definitely seemed excited about. As with much of life for everyone, it feels like things have changed somewhat since that time. Regardless though Orji is a tremendously talented athlete who could work out in a variety of roles if quarterback isn't the success he wants it to be. That versatility should only grow his potential recruiting interest.
