A Big First Game

The 2020 season is over for the vast majority of Oklahoma recruits but a few, who had their football season's delayed by Covid-19 are hitting the field. It's time to update our Future Sooners breakdown with a look at all of those playing in the spring - both for the Sooners and their own high school team.

The Skinny: Brown and Mater Dei kept rolling in a 49-7 demolition of Orange Lutheran. On the night Brown had 12 carries for 66 yards including a 5-yard touchdown run. He also had two receptions for 16 yards.

The Skinny: Burden started his first game for East St. Louis with a massive six reception 160 yard performance that included a 34-yard touchdown catch as the No. 1 Flyers crushed No. 4 Peoria 69-19.

The Skinny: Highland Springs won 40-0 over Henrico Tucker and Gilliam Jr. was a big part of it with a pair of strip sacks that resulted in one touchdown and another ball being recovered by the Springers at Tucker's one yard line.
