A Sneaky Visit

Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge defensive end Joseph Ossai was an early Oklahoma offer but since then hasn't had a lot to say about the Sooners. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound edge rusher followed that relative silence with a trip to Norman for the Sooners spring game on April 8.

"The OU visit was great. I expected nothing less from them. The game was outstanding both the offense and defense are evenly matched so that's always a good thing," Ossai said.

Ossai, who says the Sooners are recruiting him as both a defensive end and an outside linebacker, couldn't help but notice one player during the Red-White game.

"It was pretty awesome I really loved watching Caleb (Kelly), No. 19, play I think he's amazing," he said.

The state of Texas' No. 39 overall prospect says that he has been recruited by Mike Stoops

"It's fun working with him and seeing the way he thinks," he said.

Ossai isn't sure of what other trips he has coming but says he could return to the Sooners again.
