Another Noisy Weekend

It seems that Oklahoma is saving big news for the weekend, after two straight weeks of tough news Oklahoma got this weekend off to a big start with the commitment of Deerfield Beach, Fla. Rivals250 defensive back Miguel Edwards.

For several weeks now Edwards had been hinting at a decision and within that same timeline had mentioned Oklahoma was his leader.

Since then Edwards had largely gone quiet about what was going on with his recruiting process before arriving, along with fellow Oklahoma 2018 offer Rosendo Louis, yesterday at Will Rogers World Airport. The duo will be in Norman until Sunday but for now the focus is on Oklahoma's latest four-star commitment.

What did the Sooners land in Louis?

"Edwards gets lost in the shuffle of top-level cornerbacks from Florida at times because of the talent in the class. That said, make no mistake about his talent. He belongs in the conversation," Rivals.com's Josh Helmholdt said back in December.

It was a decision that was pegged by this week's SoonerScoop and look for more from SoonerScoop.com in the coming hours.
