Boren and coaching staff take ALS ice bucket challenge

As temperatures soared near triple-digits Thursday in Norman. It wouldn't necessarily have been a bad day to choose, had you been looking to get a bucket of ice water dumped on your head.
University of Oklahoma President David Boren and head coach Bob Stoops along with the rest of his coaching staff did just that following the Sooners 'open' practice in front of players and their classmates.
Boren had been nominated by Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin. Stoops accepted the challenge from Marist women's basketball coach Brian Giorgis, South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier and Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops. He then offered the challenge to OU athletic director Joe Castiglione, former OU coach Barry Switzer and country music star/OU super fan Toby Keith.
