Caleb continues Sooners hot start
Late on Thursday night around 10:15 p.m. Sooner receiver coach Darrell Wyatt's cell phone rang with a 770 area code on the caller ID.
On the other end of the line was another four-star player calling to let him know that he was heading to Oklahoma. This time the commitment came from Brandon Caleb, another talented receiver from Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy.

"I knew when I got back from Oklahoma that it was basically was a great fit for me," said Caleb, the nation's No. 11 receiver and a four-star prospect, said. "I was comtemplating Oklahoma or Georgia Tech, but I knew Oklahoma was the best fit for me.
"I can go to Oklahoma and get exposed to the next level. I talked to my parents, my coaches at Fork Union, and they all agreed. I called coach Wyatt about 10:15 last night and talked to him forever."
It was call that Wyatt surely enjoyed.
"He told me that I made his summer," Caleb said with a chuckle. "I then got done talking to him, and we called coach Stoops. He was excited too. Both are great guys. I can't wait to go play for a coach like coach Wyatt."
Caleb is a 6-foot-1, 194-pound receiver that also had offers from Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and others. Florida and USC were also heavily recruiting him, but had yet to offer him a scholarship.
What type of receiver is Oklahoma getting?
"I'm a bigger receiver," he said.
"I'm definitely competitive. You don't have to worry about me backing down or my work ethic. I love to work hour, and I'm not going to slack off or let anybody take my job."
Caleb is the Sooners 10th commitment for the class of 2006. Oklahoma also has two other four-star receiver commitments – Irving, Texas, standout Adron Tennell and St. Louis Kirkwood star Jeremy Maclin. Caleb is Oklahoma's fifth four-star prospect to commit this season.
