Commit Video Breakdown: Waxahachie WR Jalen Reagor

Oklahoma earned the commitment of Waxahachie (Texas) wide receiver Jalen Reagor this Easter Sunday. The former Texas Tech commitment is one of the more elusive receivers in the state of Texas for 2017.

Reagor is so natural with the ball in his hands and making people miss, that he almost looks like a running back. It wouldn’t be a shock to see the 6-foot-1, 189-pound receiver end up getting his number called for sweeps, reverses, and hand-offs during his time in Norman, as he is that effective with the ball in his hands.

That’s not to say the No. 55 ranked receiver in the class of 2017 can’t go up and high-point a ball and come down with it.But just watch how hard it is for two defenders right on his hip to even grasp Reagor after he comes down with it.

However, it’s almost a shame not to get the ball into Reagor’s hands as quickly as possible and allow him to go to work in the open field. Also, just watching Reagor move in space, it’s also very easy to envision him taking over punt return duties before his time in Norman is done.

Truly, there are very few receivers in the country with this blend of explosion, elusiveness, and balance that are also over 6-feet, 180 pounds. Jalen Reagor is one of the more underrated prospects in his class, as he has a chance to be a unique weapon in the right offense.
