Sure Oklahoma fans are excited to watch and Oklahoma's coaches and players are ready to punch their ticket to the college football playoff. But what of Oklahoma's three classes of commitments? We sat down and spoke with a number of the Sooners pledges about what they expect to happen in Dallas today.
The class of 2017 kept it simple with their predictions.
"31-27, Boomer Sooner," Rivals250 defensive end Ron Tatum said.
"45-31, Oklahoma," potential five-star offensive tackle Brey Walker said.
"45-16," four-star wide receiver Jaylon Robinson said.
"53-46 OU, going to be a high-scoring game," long-time commitment Jordon Austin said.
"I've got 56-36 OU," Kundarrius Taylor said.
"48-21 Oklahoma," said Ohio linebacker commit Brian Asamoah.
"31-17 OU," wide receiver Treveon Johnson said.
"45-21 OU," Tulsa (Okla.) Union safety Patrick Fields said.
"I got 30 to 0, OU," running back commitment Tavion Thomas said.
"49-24 OU," Oklahoma's quarterback commitment Tanner Mordecai said.
"52-31 OU," Oklahoma's defensive back pledge Delarrin Turner-Yell said.
"35-14 OU," Rivals100 running back commitment T.J. Pledger said.
And then a pair of Sooners did battle to see who could pick the most decisive Sooner win.
"99-0," said cornerback pledge Starrland Baldwin.
"1000-0," said midterm enrollee and four-star junior college offensive lineman Tramonda Moore.
Meanwhile their younger counterparts were a little more verbose in their expectations for Oklahoma's Big 12 championship game rematch with No. 11 TCU.
"41-17. I think they are gonna run the table," Andrew Raym, Oklahoma's 2020 offensive line commitment, said.
"Easy dubbbb," Isaiah Spiller, Oklahoma's 2019 running back commitment, said predicting a lopsided Sooner win. "OU will win big and head to the playoffs."
His classmate, 2019 Rivals100 tight end Austin Stogner, didn't see things quite as heavily in the Sooners favor but was clear that he agreed with the season's trajectory.
"42-28 OU," Stogner said.
It should be noted that Oklahoma's pair of Rivals100 commitments, Trejan Bridges and Spencer Rattler both predicted big wins for the Sooners.
