Familiar Number and Talent?

NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma's 2017 team returns with huge expectations based largely on an offensive line that should be among the most experienced and talented in the country but also a Heisman trophy contending quarterback. Beyond that the Sooners have some question marks, none bigger than at wide receiver.

One player that had high hopes this time last year was Mykel Jones and though with Oklahoma's illustrious 2018 recruiting class it would seem he has gone a bit under the radar that doesn't mean the Sooner decision-makers have forgotten him.

In fact the talented sophomore from Louisiana has heard the comparisons of himself and Sterling Shepard and no hey extend beyond just wearing the same number.

He spoke with SCOOPHD about those comparisons and how he may be able to impact things beyond just catching passes in 2017.
