Lamb Can Catch, Not Hit

Oklahoma's 2017 wide receiver signing class is one of the best in school history and the most highly ranked among that group was Richmond (Texas) Foster star Cedarian Lamb. He has already drawn strong reviews from Baker Mayfield during Oklahoma's portion of the Big 12 media days.

Lamb has been revered for his work on the football field but took some time to talk with SoonerScoop.com about some of his interest away from the field.

Josh McCuistion: What's something that you don't do very well?

Cedarian Lamb: Play baseball, that’s one thing I can’t do. There are actually a lot of things, but (with baseball) it’s the hitting part. There are a lot of things but you can’t pick just one. When it comes to batting, don’t get your hopes up (laughing). I’m batting ninth.

JM: If you could travel anywhere, where would you like to go?

CL: I would like to go to California, it’s just because California is so big, Los Angeles, San Diego, there are a lot of places you can go and it just looks fun.

JM: Is there something you're good at that maybe people wouldn't expect?

CL: I’m really good at pool, basketball too.

JM: What's something that you like to do in your downtime to try and relax?

CL: I like to go out and eat with some friends, if I was with Norman I would get some food with the SoonerSquad boys, just go watch a movie or something.

JM: So what are your goals for your time in Norman - anything in particular you are set to do?

CL: I want to break the freshman receiving record for one and obviously get a degree and go to the NFL. (As for the record) someone on Twitter sent me the numbers but I can’t remember what the exact ones were - I'm going to look that up once we're done talking.
