Murray decides to return to Oklahoma

Oklahoma's Demarco Murray will return for his senior season instead of opting for the NFL.
"Demarco's just not done with college football," said Kevin Murray, Demarco's father. "He likes the atmosphere, he likes the players and he just feels like he has some unfinished business."

Murray initially said he would remain in college following the end of the 2009 regular season, but before OU's Sun Bowl matchup with Stanford Murray said he would consider his options after receiving more information on his draft status from the NFL Draft Advisory Board.
Murray's decision is now in and he'll return to the Sooners in 2010.
Murray's father said that even though agents made strong cases for the economics of leaving early, Demarco wasn't concerned about all the talk of where the league might be in a year.
"I just want that to be known, that money was not the issue," said Kevin Murray. "I'm doing fine, his mother is doing fine. He liked the college atmosphere, he liked the coaches and he liked the teammates around him and he just likes college football right now."
Murray's return will help bolster an OU offense in need of playmakers heading into 2010. In 2009, Murray rushed for 705 yards while splitting time with senior Chris Brown. He also hauled in 41 receptions for 522 yards during his junior season.
