Raining Down State Titles

The first state title is in for Oklahoma's current Future Sooners and four more of Oklahoma's pledges continued their march toward their own championships. With one big performance after another for the current Oklahoma commitments this may have been the toughest week yet to pick out an MVP.

The Skinny: Asamoah and DeSales ended their season at 6-4.

The Skinny: Lancaster ended their season at 4-6.

The Skinny: Cy-Falls (5-5) ended their season in the first round of the Texas 6A division one playoffs

The Skinny: Hebron (8-3) ended their season in the first round of the Texas 6A division one playoffs.

The Skinny: Carter, who has a torn meniscus, watched as his Aledo Bearcats kept their march going toward another state title, dominating Richland 43-7.

Next Week: Aledo (14-0) is meeting Mansfield Legacy in the semifinals of the Texas 5A division two playoffs on Sat. Dec. 16 at 2:00p at Bedford's Pennington Stadium.

The Skinny: Crawford and Rockdale have just caught fire and are absolutely rolling through the Texas playoffs, this time downing Teague 42-20. And in the game Crawford, as usual did a bit of everything. He had a two-yard touchdown pass, five carries for 51-yards, and three receptions for 71-yards and a 52-yard touchdown. On defense Crawford had an interception and even got in the act on special teams with two points fo ran average of 39.5-yards per kick.

Next Week: Rockdale (11-3) is meeting Yoakum in the semifinals of the Texas 3A division one playoffs at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium.

The Skinny: Deerfield Beach (8-3) ended their season in the first round of the Florida 8A playoffs.

The Skinny: Aledo was back to their typical dominant ways, downing Richland, 43-7. Not surprisingly their superstar sophomore was at the heart of it with 26 carries for 201-yards and three touchdowns (69, 1, 5) to go along with two receptions for 19-yards and a 15-yard touchdown.

The Skinny: Independence C.C. (9-1) ended their season with a win in the Midwest Classic Bowl.

The Skinny: Mordecai kept his team rolling toward a state title going 18-for-31 for 191-yards and a 29-yard touchdown. He also ran for 114-yards and four touchdowns (1, 8, 46, 9) on 17-carries as Midway downed Southlake Carroll 42-28.
