Scoop HD: Ben Habern enjoying start of 2011

Oklahoma's center Ben Habern is no longer the young gun along Oklahoma's offensive line. You can make a good bet he'll be in strong consideration for a team captain spot this season as the fourth-year junior heads into his third season as a starter. This season Habern will also have a bigger role in making calls along the offensive line.

Habern talked with SoonerScoop.com's Carey Murdock this weekend during OU Media Day and covered a variety of subjects from the offensive tackles to guards. He also talked about going in front of the camera this season for OU's official website and his thoughts on making the Haka dance a permanent part of OU practices.
