JUSTICE HANSEN AND COLEMAN KEY FROM OU CAMP THIS SUMMER
Of course as one of the star-studded class of 2014's biggest names Hansen will draw loads of attention and rightfully so following a sophomore season that saw him throw for 2,917 yards and 27 touchdowns as a freshman. After a tour of camps in the spring and summer Hansen's profile has only grown and going into his junior season is one of the bigger names in Oklahoma high school football.
However, there is plenty of other talent that will be at Moore stadium on Thursday night, among his own teammates are Arkansas commitment Khari Harding and Harding's classmates Trevan Smith, Dale Jefferson, and Phillip Sumpter along with Hansen's classmate Cameron Westbrook at running back. The group makes up one of the state's most talented collections of skill position talent.
While Harding and Hansen are long-known names a name that great upped his profile this summer is Norman North linebacker Jordan Evans. After showing up at Oklahoma's camp and putting on a stellar performance he now holds offer from Navy, New Mexico, and Ohio with many more figuring to come in short order for the 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect.
As for the home squad a trio of seniors have picked up early attention with receiver/defensive back Jhames West leading linebacker Josh Morgan and offensive lineman Nick Hardaway. West is a multi-purpose athlete who was solid at January's Army All-American combine while Hardaway impressed many with his powerlifting numbers in the off-season and Morgan with his open field tackling ability last fall.
The final piece of the puzzle is the always talented Lawton Eisenhower, a program that head coach Boone Copeland has taken to the playoffs the last two years in spite of the Eagles being down in talent from their glory years of the past. Eisenhower has some interesting young talent coming through the pipe and the scrimmage could be the first chance to put it on display.
