Multiple sources have confirmed that Oklahoma is now working on bringing in Illinois State's MiKyle McIntosh for a visit.
McIntosh announced his intention to declare for the NBA Draft or seek graduate transfer opportunities five days ago, but it sounds as though he understands the latter is much more likely and will not hire an agent.
The 6-foot-7, 234-pound Ontario native was named second team All-Missouri Valley Conference a year ago, averaging 12.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He was also named the league's most improved player as a sophomore in 2015-16.
McIntosh tore his meniscus towards the end of the season and was late arriving to a decision to leave Illinois State, so this is almost an ideal situation for a program that just wasted two valuable weeks waiting on Egor Koulachev, who committed to Florida on Tuesday.
