Sooners Back in Space City

At this point in the recruiting game offers to rising seniors are becoming more rare than those two the upcoming junior class of 2018. However on Tuesday the Sooners made a new 2017 offer to fast-rising linebacker target Kenneth Murray of Missouri City (Texas) Elkins. SoonerScoop.com caught up with him to talk a bit about his interest in the Sooners and his admittance to growing up a lifelong Sooner fan.

Murray's Take

"Coach (Tim) Kish came by a few weeks ago and came back today to watch me practice and scrimmage," Murray said. "He then offered me (Tuesday night)."

"He actually said he doesn't know (where I'll play). He thinks I'm super athletic so he thinks I can play both."

"I always was (a fan). I grew up watching them," he explained.

"I plan to visit up there sometime this summer. I haven't (been there before) but I'm excited to get up there though."

Next on the Schedule

Murray hasn't finalized when the visits may happen but says he'll visit Oklahoma, Baylor, Michigan and 'probably' Florida this summer.
