Sooners in Uncharted Territory

As of late it seems that Oklahoma is putting out a new offer along the defensive line on a near hourly basis. One of the most recent of those offers comes from an area that the Sooners have rarely recruited in - Hampton, Va. That offer is to three-star strongside defensive end Elijah Conliffe.

SoonerScoop.com caught up with the new Sooner offer to see just where things stand with their recent offer.

"I've spoken a little with the defensive line coach (following the offer)," Conliffe said. "He was about to get on his plane so he made it quick."

"We were out practicing on footwork and after the last firing off drill I saw him shaking his head in a good way."

"I know Oklahoma's engineering program is good; I want to major in civil engineering," he explained.

Conliffe says that he hasn't finalized any visit plans for this summer.
