Oklahoma's hashtag for it's 2019 recruiting efforts has become #NewWave19, and on Friday, just before noon, the Sooners saw the wave start to roll with the commitment of Austin Stogner.
The 6-foot-7, 230-pound prospect made one of his repeat trips to Norman on Monday and hung out with fellow 2019 offer, quarterback Spencer Rattler.
During that trip Stogner gave some impression that things went well but there was still chatter that a few trips needed to be taken.
The big pass-catcher from Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian Academy chose the Sooners over offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, and Ohio State amongst many others.
SoonerScoop.com will have much more from Stogner in short order.
