SCOOPHD: Special Talent Emerges

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - No one is surprised to see a talent come out of nowhere from Midwest City high school and as such when coming across a 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end named Jalen Redmond it all felt like part of the plan. The big edge rusher, who was a basketball focused prospect the past few years, is ready to emerge as one of the best in a in-state 2018 class that already looks to be loaded.

However, what is even less surprising is that the Bombers have loads of other talent - joining Redmond in the 2018 class are offensive lineman Morgan Moore as well as safety Ace Vick.

Beyond that is a name that Oklahoma high school fans are considerably familiar with at this point, 2017 safety Evan Fields.
