Future Sooners: MVPs Everywhere

Though it came before the Sooners went into their video game like 66-59 win over it shouldn't be surprising that many of the Future Sooners put together big numbers on the field themselves. Unfortunately there were also three players pledged to Oklahoma who were unable to finish their high school games with various injuries. Read all about a chaotic week for the Future Sooners.

Next Week: Memorial (3-4) is hosting Tahlequah on Thu., Oct. 27.

Next Week: Southmoore (5-3) is traveling to Mustang.

MVP: Grant Calcaterra

The Thinking: Man, this one was close with about half a dozen players having a real claim to the throne. But in the end Calcaterra's performance came against a quality opponent, and even thought it was in a loss it just can't be ignored - even if it's becoming a regular habit of him and his receiver commitment cohorts. Among those also considered for the spot, it was impossible to ignore nights like Cedarian Lamb, Chris Robison, Tre Brown, Jeremiah Hall, and Levi Draper had.
