Oklahoma's class of 2017 is loaded with stars and several lengthy playoff runs came to an end last weekend with a few tough losses for the Future Sooners. And not surprisingly for the final act one of Oklahoma's most highly anticipated freshman in recent memory took home the top honor. The Skinny: On the biggest stage of his career Lamb delivered another huge performance with nine receptions for 135-yards and a 13-yard touchdown. But it wasn't quite enough as the Falcons lost a heartbreaker to Temple 31-24 coming up just yards short of a tying touchdown in the final seconds.

The Thinking: With only two commitments still in the running this was the easiest call of the season for to Jeremiah Hall's limited numbers and his team's unbefitting end to an otherwise great season. But beyond that Lamb had a great day making two unbelievable catches and showing up for his team in their biggest moments, again and again.
